Slow day at the shop so I used my time wisely. Swapped my buddy's car back to stock, took my HR/Megan setup off and got his BC's, took out a collar on the rear, ran those down, the fronts all the way down (for the winter, it'll get 10k 135's up front collars gone etc after), sits an inch lower. And rear corksport sway bar and front strut tower bar. Fun stuff

decided to lower the rear tire pressure by 3psi. seems the car may like a lower pressure in the rear whereas I normanlly run 2-3psi higher in the rear.

as lame as this may sound, it feels like the rear squats down in corners a bit better this way. lol more bite?
people dont realize how much tire pressures affect the handling characteristics.
I invite all those who track, or the weekend canyon driver to try out different tire pressures. Im sure you'll be surprised at how much this can help. there is no one perfect pressure that can be used.
the best way is with white shoe polish. smear some on radius part where the sidewall meets the tread. apply the polish to the tread, and over the sidewall. go drive around and take some turns. come back and look at the scuff marks. are they scuffed all the way down the sidewall? then add more pressure. is the scuff mark on the tread, then let a litle air out. you're looking to have the scuff marks meet where the tread ends and the sidewall begins...right where that arrow hits the tread from the sidewall. again, no set number.

Makes sense for aggressive driving, manufacturer reccommended tire pressure is there basically because for the weight, economy, handling characteristics, and overall safety of a STOCK vehicle. Modified cars can definitely benefit from slight, and like you said maybe 2-3 psi +/-. That's a cool trick with the white shoe polish!

painted my FMIC piping flat black, and called godspeed to bitch about them selling my intercooler core out from under me... so they are sending me a different one, at a discount

wish me luck on fitting the type wx versus the type c... going to have to do some cutting and maybe tearing stuff out :P
