    Default Brendan's Mazda 2 Build!

might as well get a build thread going! took delivery on my 2012 true red touring 5 speed mazda 2 yesterday. Here's a few pics of her first evening at home. Already took off the 5 ft antenna and put on the Corksport stubby!

i'd have to argue that the wiper is easier to delete when in the glass. a metal plug is easier and cheaper to come by than having someone fill and paint the massive hole left behind.

Shaw- I knew you'd like a true red little brother! haha

Pre ordered the XXR 531 16x8 +20. all pre orders will be fulfilled by the end of march giving me plenty of time to get some tires here, as well as get coil overs and hopefully some camber arms fabricated. looks like K sport coil overs are what will get me the lowest and horsepower freaks (portland, or) just so happen to sell them :-)

thank you! after much research its come down to K-Sport or H&R coilovers. the lowering specs are the same, but the names speak for themselves. $900 for K-Sports, $1300 for H&R, there is always a reason why things cost more. I've been reading horror stories of K-Sport being a knock off JDM wannabe company, and we know H&R is a suspension leader. so, i'm going to hopefully pick up a set of H&R coilovers this week.

lowering specs are 70mm front & 60mm rear

The only problem with H&R is you won't be able to get shorter springs for them as easily if you decide to go even lower. At least if they are anything like the ones made for the 3 anyway.

    Excited to see this build.

check what kind of springs each use, like chef said, h&rs arent easily replaceable springs

Tint is complete. 20% all around! It's 35 degrees here so it's going to take a minute to cure!
