Staying on topic... Ordered the 4piece 3dcarbon kit today. Front lip, side skirts, and rear diffuser. I'm having 3dcarbon paint it so I don't have to deal with that hassle again. should arrive at my door in a few weeks!

working on some little things today

decided to pull off the rear emblems. i read that there wasn't post holes on the mazda 2 portion but that was false... will be doing a light sand and blacking them out today. the front emblem is a PITA! i'll have to remove the front bumper to get it off since it doesn't use the usual clips it has 4 screws (assholes) i also removed the front license plate frame and put the cover on... much cleaner imo. oh and put on a Corksport license plate frame!

Major downfall of the 2 is it doesn't come with projector headlights. I could have been an asshole and fitted hid but I wanted to try something else first. I picked up these bulbs in hopes they would pair nicely with the Corksport led fog lights and they do :-)

Second, my scosche stereo installation kit finally arrived! I can finally use my pioneer in dash again!!

no, retrofit your headlights, with aftermarket projectors. Your bulbs are H4 so the Morimoto Mini Projector would be a direct drop in with no cutting.
Heres a pic of my retro for an example:

the light output is incredible, and they are bixenon so you can keep your high beam functionality

EDIT: For more info check out theretrofitsource.com
    they have everything you need

    Yup.... Lol
I don't know how to do a retrofit, as in not sure how much if any cutting required, but you will have to at least remove that shield in front of bulb.
Retrofits might just drop in (from front). Dont quote me on that though.

Japan has hids in the headlights I believe. Not sure why we didn't get the option.

I say do it if you can, if I had money for air I would've been on it from the start, driving low static is cool and all but anyone who is obsessed with it is just trying to say their cock is bigger..

Doesn't the 2 have a solid rear axle setup though?

it does have a solid rear axle... i read that installing airbags on a front solid axle is a bad idea, but the rear would be fine.. please tell me if i read wrong

No the rear would be fine. You just might need to notch the frame for clearance like VWs do. Also, you might get a little forward movement of the axle when slammed like VWs get too.
