Hey i'm Sam and I own a freshly bagged 2007 mazda 3 GT.
I was tired to bashing my frame and oil pan last summer while being slammed on coilovers so I decided that bags were the solution. After doing some research, I only found that there was only airrex that carried mazda 3 bags. My buddy Tyler Williams had bagged his STI at the time with Airrex so it was perfect timing! He convinced me that the struts were pretty legit and good quality and worth every penny. I then contacted Wing (Firebert) from MemoryFab and I got a price quote in a day. So I i thought it through and decided to go with the Airrex struts. I had no idea how low it was gonna go, I had no clue about anything and i have never heard about Airrex before at the time except from Tyler.
I decided to only order the struts from Wing because I was going for the the new V2 autopilot management from Airlift (Bagriders.com). He was okay with that.
So I placed my order in late December and there I was, just waiting. 2 weeks later, my Airrex and Airlift goodies arrived
Vitali at Strass Autowerks was the perfect man for the installation job so I contacted him and he was actually honored and excited to bag the first Mazda 3 in Canada (known to this day).
After the install, Vitali told me both Airrex struts and V2 management were pretty simple to Install. Plug and play.
I would like to Thank:
Wing (Firebert) at Memory fab (excellent customer service)
Airlitf (www.bagriders.com)
Vitali at Strasse Autowerks
Marwan for the pictures
The struts!
Look where it's hidden!
Basic temporary trunk setup.
Results (Don't like the rear so I ordered All Day Fab aftermarket lower control arms for the rear because to get more lows and they are currently in the making)
My bro's rabbit and my 3
So far, i'm loving it and i'm glad Airrex struts didn't disappoint!
