Thank you! My powdercoater went out of town and will pc them the middle of this week. I ordered a cream color for the faces, still working on the barrels, I've just been super busy with work and coaching. I NEED to finish them though! They should be mounted by this weekend I'm rolling/pulling my fenders more aggressively this weekend also. I'm wanting to finish everything before the car show in town here on the 4th of August. I need to order rear camber arms just to be sure the 9's fit in the rear. I'm going to attempt the 225's I already have. I'll see how it goes. If they don't fit in the front I'll just throw on some 205/40's I have. I'll post pics as soon as everything starts rollin!

Powder is here!!! Wheels get shot tomorrow!

Car decided to give me a scare today also. Made me think I had a cursed fuel pump. But turned out to be an easy fix.

Decided to finally do my rear wiper delete also. Can't have a clean shaved hatch with a gnarly rear wiper.

Tore apart the plastic lining in the hatch to get to the wiper motor.

    Next took out the motor.

    Took out the rubber plug.

And finished product. Plugged the hole with a metal plug from Lowe's.

Haha Ok. Well i'm getting new coilovers so I can have camber plates and add some camber up front and go lower! I can go lower on these coils but I'm rubbing too much up front. So I'm still trying to get it all dialed in but here's how I rolled up to our local car show.

New wheels: Blitz 01 - 17x8 +35 up front and 17x9 +38 in the rear. On 225/45 Hankook Ventus V12's.

    Added the Subaru lip also.

Waiting in line behind the Forester. Best side view of how flush the wheels are that I have so far.

A lot of these photos were taken before I could finish getting my car ready lol So Quite a few don't have pictures with the centercaps in. CANNOT wait to lower the fronts more! The rears rub around corners and if someone sits in my backseat so I need to roll and pull some more because they're getting pretty eaten up over bumps. It's still a work in progress. I was trying to go for a cream color in the center, but in some lights it just looks off white. The powder I wanted was discontinued

There is too much tire up front I may buy a 215/45 or something.

Those wheels look great Jocelyn! I'd definitely get shorter tires if you want to go lower. It will only help in the long run.

Your tires are soooo meaty!) Thats the main reason why you rub. I don't think you really need camber plates with those rims, just get some 205s up front and 215 in the rear, and you'll be allright. Clean look overall!

Yeah I want to go to a 215. My buddy is trying to talk me into a 235/40. But, that's coming from Driver311 with the red speed 3 if you guys are familiar with him and he's all about handling and going fast lol

They're so chubby they're making me hate my wheels haha. I am going to start looking for new tires. Just don't want TOO much stretch in the rear. I have to commute a ton, my female paranoid-ness kicks in. ;D 215's??

PS....going to go a more creamier color over the winter when the wheels are off. Thinking almond. Continue polishing the barrels. And what do you think of gold bolts to hold the wheels together?

Orrrrrr I've contemplated new wheels lol

Your 225/45/17s look meatier than the ones on my winter wheels. You should give 215/45/17s a shot. Or move up to 18s.

215/40 would work nice too. You'll be a lot lower though.

215/40's will put you around a half inch closer to the ground, also giving you a half inch more wheel gap. so if you want the gap to stay the same, you'll have to put the car an inch closer to ground.

I got new coilovers. So I don't have the st performance ones anymore. The ones I have on now are set to where my buddy driver311 had them for racing. So I can actually go lower now I think I like the look of 215/45 in the rear a lot better. I know I saw someone with it on here.

That's a very nice compromise between function and form actually.

You really think so? Thank you. I was able to add camber in the front so I don't rub anymore. I might just beat the pinch weld up and see if I can just tuck tire. That was my other option.

Ya I rubbed before I lowered a bit more and added some more camber, now all is well.

Alright I'm torn between 215/45/17 or 215/40/17 for the front 17x8. I'm almost thinking of just leaving the 225/45/17 in the rear or seeing if I can get a 235/40? I can't remember what that looks like. But the rear has enough stretch and camber that I can tuck the rear some more I think.

    Opinions?

The Blitz's are getting redone here pretty soon. Can't wait for SPRING!

215/40 is going to drop the car by .6 inches compared to the 225/45. You'll also have .6 inches more wheel gap since using a smaller tire goes both ways.

I'm keeping the 225/45's because they're still good. I'll just swap them back on if I need to go hiiiiigher. No trades. We live like forever apart.
