rpf1 17x8+35 what tires to go with?

I kno not aggressive and all but what should the specs of the tires be?
currently is 215/50/17 (too much chunk)
My uncle says go for: 195/45or40/17

Me: honestly I just want something skinny so my it looks like I have moar wheel

Your uncle is just right, 195/45 will work fine for you

HATE the idea of going skinnier than stock. Go beefy with 17" RPF1's. - 245/40/17.

So are you at stock height, or is your car slammed?? If your going to run the 195's at stock height your going to turn your car in to a true 4x4.
You'll get more rim, and you'll get even more wheel gap...
