Default PeZZo's Yellow 3 work in progress...

    Hi, everyone!
I've already introduced myself in the Newcomers section
    http://mazdafitment.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1233

Now that I have some more to share with you guys I decided to start my build thread.

It all started this winter when I bought a set of old school Japanese 3-piece wheels. They are Manaray Sport MS-5 18x8 ET37 18x9 ET41 (eff. with 8mm spacers). When I got the wheels they looked like this

    And on the car...
    FRONT

    REAR

I wanted to make the wheels look fresh and add some custom flavor. So I did the following:
    - took the wheels apart
    - washed away the clearcoat
    - powdercoated centers and bolts in Candy Purple
    - hand-polished the lips
    - put it all together

That's in short just to give you an idea. In reality it was real hard work =)

    Hope you like'em! =)

    Updates coming soon!

Very similar. And the specs are similar to yours apart from diameter. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks for your feedback, boys. We're moving on...

I went for Nankang NS-II tyres in 215/40 ZR18 all around. That's how they fit.

The rears stretched pretty nicely, just what I wanted.

On the fronts I got just a bit of stretch, but I think that will be enough to fit the wheel with the fender.

In fact, the wheels are now finally on the car, but you probably don't want to check them out with Eibach springs lol =) Going to install coilovers soon and get moar low.

I finally got to install my AP Coilovers and went low!
You might also notice the Speed rear bumper with giffuuser painted gloss black.

    Here we go:

Sorry if there are too many pics lol =)

As you can see nothing too aggressive, wheels could be wider, offsets could be lower and the car itself could also be lower...
The front is maxed out, the only way to drop more it is to remove helper springs.
In the rear I have 10 mm to the limit, but can't go lower until I roll the fenders.

Just to remind you, the wheel specs are 18x8 ET37 and 18x9 ET41 215/40 all around.

I love that front bumper. I wish we had that one in the US. I have the same grill as you but I had to cut my bumper to make it fit.
