Xpel headlight covers arrived today

Headlights should be shipped tomorrow by Matt if he gets back early enough, if not, thursday they'll go out.

Just purchased Corksport Eyelids

Bulbs were out of stock and barely shipped today so if I'm lucky, Matt will get them Saturday. Either or, I probably won't see the lights before Wednesday.

Pulled the trans today, installed front and driver side motor mounts and installed the ss clutch line.

Tomorrow is going to be the rear motor mount, transmission install(pending rod fix), and passenger side motor mount.

Alright, so update. We attempted to fix the damaged shift rod on the trans but the weak weld gave so we just made it worse though if we couldn't fix it, it didn't really matter. So we torn open the bad trans to get the shift rod out of it which we did successfully. Now I have to find a transmission shop I can take my trans to so they can switch out the shift rods and I will also be getting the LSD welded to prevent any failure down the line.

I also installed the rear motor mount in about an hour or so, it was A LOT easier than I was expecting. The how-to helped a lot but the key is a swivel extension, without it, it would be a nightmare.

After work today, I went with the trans to the trans shop I felt was my best option after calling a dozen this morning. Got a quote of $200 to replace the rod and another $100 if I wanted to get the LSD welded at the same time. This will be the place I will be taking it to, however a claim has been filed with UPS and they will be popping up sometime soon to see the damage caused in transit and we'll go from there on how much they're going to give me, if any at all. Then she'll go off and get repaired.

Then I come home with a letter from Corksport, I open it and find this

Another SS clutch line. But why? Enclosed was a letter telling me they have reason to believe my previous clutch line would not have proper fitment and may cause issues so this is my replacement and to please destroy the previous clutch line.

Hey, +1 to Derrick and Kelly at corksport for giving me a free clutch line cause they thought the previous had a problem. They could of easily let me keep my current one and eventually ran into some problems.

Well, retrofits were shipped early yesterday so they should arrive tomorrow. I'm pretty excited to see them. Then today, I got an email from ups with instructions on what pictures they wanted to continue with this claim. Pictures have been taken and sent to them, now I just wait and see what they decide. Wish me luck. Corksport eyelids also arrived today, VERY good quality

Got an email from ups today telling me that they will notify the shipper of their results by the end of the business day tomorrow so lets hope for the best.

Now, on to something more interesting. My lights came in

Unfortunately, usps was too rough with them so the reflector in one got knocked loose which totally sucks balls but Matt with his kick ass customer service is taking it back and will repair and reship asap. So another bump in the road but Matt is hooking it up.

Alright, now onto the good stuff. Once I get the bad one back and gets these installed, I'm going to have a full review in a separate thread so I won't get into details in here to much but right out the box, WOW. These things were jaw dropping, pictures do no justice.

The paint, the construction, the detail, the cleanliness, the everything, its fucking great. These could almost pass for factory projectors.

Even though I don't have to car to test them on, I had to get some cut off pics.

I can't fucking WAIT to get these on the car, these mothers are bright as HELL. This one light is brighter than my two lights combined, no joke.

Well Manny just called me, UPS did not rule in our favor. They said it was shipper's fault for not properly packaging the trans which they will not cover. Nice to see what you pay for when insuring

Manny however, was kind enough to split the cost of replacing the rod so I most likely will be dropping the trans off after work today, so they can get started bright and early Monday morning.

I was thinking of doing a light smoke on the ts section to flow with the headlights then when the body work gets done, I'd remove the side turn signals from the fenders.
