Hey man, looks great, what is that splitter on the front? I'm looking for something exactly like that.

Just had to trim it up a bit but it was an easy installation and it can't break like my previous splitter.

Thanks Kirby! I am not sure if I am going to go with air or just keep my current ride height and get some new wheels. I am thinking about 20x9 wheels for next season.

Yeah I am pretty set on these just for something a bit different.

20x9 +35 and the only available tire size that could work is 225/30/20. I will definitely need camber plates up front. Either going custom or getting the front half of a BC coilover setup since they have camber plates anyway. Kmac is another option but I have heard from a lot of people who use them that they bend after a while. If I can get my shop to do it for less than $500 I want to see if they can make a sandwich kind of plate that has the camber adjustment on top of the strut tower instead of underneath it. I haven't drawn anything up but I think something like that could be made. It might also be possible to lower the front slightly by sitting the spring and strut further up inside the strut tower.

nice. and yeah i would assume you are going to have a pretty tough time with the 9's though. cause your 19s now are flush as is and higher offset? will def look sick cambered out and tucking when you do get them to fit without too much problems up in the wheel wells

Corksport is making camber plates now too for around $300, just call them up, they should be in production soon. I'm also on H&R coilovers and I'm gonna order those... only drawback is they raise the ride height by 1/3". But that's not a big deal to me, I really want the car to level out anyways.

It makes me so jelly that hatches are easy to find front lips for. Man, fuck my sedan.

I am just going to get BCs with shorter springs and struts for $500. I'd rather spend the extra 200 and have new struts and springs too. The corksport ones look cool but I don't want to raise my car up. LOL

Love it man. I actually like the wheel choice alot. They (yout wheels) aren't something you see too commonly within the aggressive fitment community, and for that I commend you.

Thanks man. I was worried about them not looking right on a stanced car but they worked out extremely well.

Yeah I know, I'm not too sure how I'll feel about the extra height, but I've got some ridiculous driveways I have to pull into (work and home included) with no way around and I scrape as it is with a very mild drop. So I guess I'll just deal with it, I love the way the H&R's ride. What's your tire size? I'm curious if I'll be tucking any tire with 215/40's on 18x9.5's.

I'm on 215/35/19s in front and 225/35/19s in the rear and I tuck about a half inch of tire.

Oh that's just 4mm larger diameter than mine, so I should still tuck a bit of tire up front even with the 1/3" from the camber plates. That'll be perfect for me! Now on the front, what did you do with the ABS bracket so that the collar could go all the way down?

    Hi Josh!

bigblazer- When I first installed the coilovers I modified the ABS brackets that were causing the collar to not go down all the way. Basically I cut one side of them off with a hack saw and it worked perfectly. They are not load bearing so you could ditch them completely and zip tie the lines out of the way.

You might not tuck tire but it will not have any wheel gap with that setup.

Doode, you still need to do an exhaust clip for us! I need to figure out what i'm gonna do about my current muffler hitting the ground, and yours in an option for me.

The angle in my pipe is close to the ground and the muffler is almost as low as the pipe. It would definitely drag on your car. I will get a sound clip eventually.

Argh. I emailed Vibrant to see if they have a smaller muffler they would reccommend, worst case i'll just delete that muffler xD

I am perfectly happy with my ebay muffler. The sound of the exhaust is nice because I left both cats intact instead of removing one. It has a nice deep tone to it with no rasp at all.

Yeah. The only reason i'll prolly go with a vibrant muffler is to try to maintain the sound the exhaust came with, cause I love the way it sounds. I'm hoping that they can recommend one that maintaints that sounds, but sits a little higher.

Oh okay, that's what I was curious about, I didn't think it would be a big deal to modify the bracket but I wanted to check before I started hacking away metal, lol. I'll just go at it with a grinder when I install everything next week. And no wheel gap up front is good enough for me! I drive way too much to be super low anyways, haha.

I just went with a 4.5" stainless steel tip on mine, all resonators removed, nice and tucked up and out of the way. Mine's a MS3 though, so the sound will be different, but mine has no rasp/drone and sounds perfect for me. I just want it a little louder so I'm going to be doing a CS racepipe soon.

This is pretty much the plan for next season. I want to stance this thing on 20s and see how she pulls off the VIP style look. 20x9 +35 XXR 526 (3.25" lip) with 225/30/20 tires is the plan right now unless I find some Axis wheels I like for less than retail price.

I need to buy BC coilovers for the front so I can get camber plates. I am going to need 3 degrees or so of camber up front to fit these right. Probably going to get their 150mm 8k springs with extreme drop shorter strut cartridges in case I need to drop the car more for shows. LOL

Pardon my quick chops but you get the idea.

I'd probably have them painted to look like this.

i'm not so sure those wheels are the right "look" for VIP? but to each his own. I'd be doing work schwerts sc2 or or weds kranze bazeria

edit: scratch the bazeria. biggest size is 22 or 17s, lol. but something to that effect cause they're pretty dope...
