Wekfest started in San Francisco, California back in 2009 by Weksos Industries, and now has expanded the passion to several other tour locations throughout the United States. It is a premiere automotive gathering of European, Domestic and Import vehicles, and some of the best vendors and top models.
Take a look at what Wekfest 2011 in Texas and Long Beach, California had to offer last year.
Long story short, the event presented the finest rides on display for its thousands and thousands of spectators throughout the day. Let us take a look at what was on display this year.
Mazda RX-7 FD (3rd Generation) on Work Meister S1s. Absolutely incredible. Props to the owner.
Another RX- 7 FD with a LS7 engine swap. Rotary lovers are gonna be mad. Haha.
Mazda Miata NA (1st generation) on chrome Rota Grid Vs.
This is the car that I enjoyed the most. If you haven’t seen one of these yet. This is a Mazda Miata with a Pit Crew Racing front end. This one in particular is highly modified visually, but is also modified for power; turbocharged. The whole inspiration for this is the classic British automotive stylings of the Ginetta G4, the Karmann Ghia, and other similar classic roadsters.
This is quick highlight of my weekend at the Fatlace Paddock/RWB Headquarters to Wekfest 4.
These were most of the Mazdas that I was only able to capture, if yours is not here, it is because I left early. Nevertheless, this is a unique event to attend if you ever get the chance, so do not miss out on one of these.
