JCCA (Japan Classic Car Association) New Years Meet in Odaiba, Japan was held on January 29th. It is open to both Japanese and foreign classic cars. If you ever to get the chance to come out to one of these events, it is an experience of a lifetime. You can spend hours at the parking lots for these events; just remember to come early since that is when the best of the best arrive. Let us take a look at some of the classics that made an appearance.
This is a Mazda Luce Legato from 1977 done up in a gurachan style (bosozoku style; Grand Champion Race in Fuji). Stacked headlights and body style; large luxury sedan.
Parked right next to the 1977 Luce Legato was this 1974 Luce coupe (RX-4). In three years, the designers mysterious made this sporty coupe into a large luxury sedan; talk about drastic changes!

Nicely done SA22C (Mazda RX-7). Bright Orange and loud!
This is a Mazda Cosmo AP (RX-5), a car that Mazda decided to give an Americanized styling to it’s Japanese platform. Popular in Japan, but not internationally.
A newer car in the sea of classic beauties. Mazda RX-8 on a set of Enkei NT03+M.
Other non-Mazda classics, still looking clean as the day they were made. A Gold Rush Customs GX71 (Toyota Chaser) on Gold SSR Star Sharks and right next to it a GX61 Mark II (Toyota Chaser) on SSR Long Champs. Behind is a Cressida on deep SSR MK2s.
